I am Myka Lukin and I am really worried about my brother Jake. One day he picked me up after school and told me he was being followed. He drove us crazily home and we almost crashed. Things are getting really weird at home. I hear Jake talking to people on the phone in his room and he always texts. My grandfather, a Russian immigrant, has called for Jake to come visit. My father used to work for the government was in a plane crash two years ago and my mom is alone. All of a sudden we have a housekeeper who is cooking and cleaning for us. I hated this, because I don’t need a babysitter, but Jake agrees and he thinks this Mrs. Delgado housekeeper will be great. Something is up. . . She and Jake talk a lot and I can’t be around. Jake has a new friend Eric who has appeared out of nowhere something is up (Prepared by: Susan Mitchell, Beaufort High School, susan.mitchell@beaufort.k12.sc.us  South Carolina Young Adult Book nominee 2017)
