"I've never fought with the Forces of Darkness before. That was a Cub Scout badge I seem to have missed." Imagine an America just like the one we live in...except when you turn on the news at night, in addition to the usual car wrecks, robberies, and murders...there are witch trials, and vampire executions. Babies are stolen by fairies, and exchanged for changelings. Your hometown holds an annual Sad Festival of Vampires, to keep an evil Vampire Lord locked in another world. All of this occurs in the world around you, and you just take it for granted, because its just the way things have always been. Until one day, you wake up thirsty. Along with the usual troubles of puberty, you find yourself getting hungrier and hungrier. You have trouble sleeping. And sometimes...sometimes you can't see your reflection.
