Meet 9-year-old Freddy Funkhouser.  He is a boy genius.  His father runs a health conscious hamburger restaurant that is not doing so well.  Freddy's solution -- create a float for the Founder's Day Parade that will publicize the restaurant and get everyone wanting to eat there.  And what a float he plans.  There will be five life-sized french fries!  But the truly remarkable thing is that he plans to bring them to life through technology.  All is going as planned until a bolt of lightning brings the fries to life a bit early.  Now Freddy has more trouble than he could ever have imagined.
