Sylvie's dad is a composer who writes magical music.  When he goes missing, Sylvie and her friend  George set out to find him.  What they find is that there are many strange happenings.  The animals have lost their voices.  Even Sylvie's dog Mr. Jackson has lost his voice.  Dad has been captured by the Songman who is on a mission to collect all the songs in the world.  And he has sent Woodpecker Man to attack Sylvie and George.
