Matthew isn't sure about this.  His American cousin is coming to London to live with them.  Sam's hippie mother has died and his father is in jail so it's up to the Burton's to take in this angry, hurt young man.  After Sam gets Matthew and his friends kicked out of their favorite hangout, Sam is banished from the group.  He proposes that he be given an initiation stunt.  If he does it, he gets to hang out with the boys.  If he doesn't, he wont' bother them again.  Trying to think of the most outrageous stunt that Sam will surely turn down, the boys dare Sam to dress as a girl for the first week of school.  Since Sam's school records are spotty at best, they figure the school won't know if the are expecting Sam or Samantha.  Will he do it?  Can he convince people that he is a girl?  Can he go from boy to girl?
