Browne, Anthony.
THE SHAPE GAME
New York : Farrar Straus Giroux, 2003.
IL K-3, RL 3-6
ISBN 0374367647
It was Mom's idea.  There was a soccer game on television so Dad and the two boys certainly would never have thought of it.  But it was Mom's birthday and she wanted to go.  So off they all went to the art museum.  At first, the boys were bored.  Dad didn't like any of the art.  But then Mom started to explain the different pieces to them.  As they all began to understand the paintings, they became much more interesting.  Who could have guessed that the little boy in this story would grow up to become an artist?
