Booktalk #1

Duck has had it.  Farmer Brown just expects way too much from the farm animals.  They have to mow and clean and even grind the coffee beans.  But what can Duck do?  He decides that things would be different if he were in charge.  So he made a sign and hung it up in the barn.  The sign said "Farmer Brown must go!  Farm election tomorrow!"  That's right.  Duck is running for Farm Manager.  Does he have a chance?  Is the job as easy as he thinks?

Booktalk #2

Duck has climbed the political ladder from running a farm to running the United States, and has learned along the way that each job has its own “sticky” problems that the leader must handle. While campaigning for each position, Duck gets to meet lots of people and thinks that the next job will be easier, but he learns that each job has its own set of problems, and each seems more difficult than the last.
