When Wilson Kimeli Naiyomah returned to his village in Kenya and told his tribe about the attack on the Twin Towers, they decided they needed to do something to help.  In Maasai tradition, cows are sacred and Naiyomah asks the elders to bless the cow so he can offer it to the US to help the healing.  Other villagers join his effort and fourteen cows were offered from the tiny Kenyan village.
