Willie McPhee is one of the best bag pipe players in all of Scotland.  Unfortunately, he has fallen on rough times and can't make a living playing the pipes for people.  He decides to leave his home and travel to a place where he might have more luck.  Along the way, poor Willie finds that he just can't make a living playing the pipes.  His clothes become ragged and his boots are filled with holes.  It is winter and he is freezing.  Just when he is about to give up, he comes across a dead man in the woods wearing a great pair of boots.  Now, being a practical man, Willie can't just leave the boots on a dead man when he himself is freezing. You'll never believe what happens next.  Find out in COLD FEET by Cynthia DeFelice.
