Rob dies, because they were drinking and driving.  Andy has a hard time dealing with it.  Andy keeps blaming himself for the accident.  Andy with stress on him he kills himself. The theme is just, because you best friend dies doesn't mean you have to blame your self.  If you tried to save the them its not your fault.  If you take counseling it can sometimes work.  The book was sad, but I had a good tome reading it.  I thought it wasn't going to be interesting because of the cover.  I read the back cover and it was interesting.  I ended up reading it and I it really caught my attention.
