Swift and her friends love playing war in the open field.  Although girls usually do not play, Swift is not like the other girls in the Garden of El.  She longs to know what life is like on the outside.  She also becomes fascinated with the legend of El.  Long ago, El was the King of the Earth and Men had not come.  But soon, Men started to come near the Garden.  As more and more Men arrived, El knew that it would mean battle.  Now the children practice the battle everyday to be ready if Men come again.  The legend also states that El will come again.  Can this be true?  Will El return to the Garden?  And where does Swift fit into the legend?
