Are you an impatient reader? Well if you are this is the book for you! This is a short book with short chapters. It is a mystery book with a lot of humor and suspense.  I really enjoyed this book because the author uses imagery to describe the setting. I really think you should read this book!
In this book there are only three main characters.  First of all there is Dan Hogg. Dan is the outcast in his class and has no friends what so ever. After Dan there is Shane. Shane is the Bully of Dan Hogg and is the most popular kid in his class. Finally there is Mrs. Creaser who is the substitute of the class and is taking the class on a field trip to a hog farm.
When Mrs. Creaser's class arrives at the hog farm every thing seem to be going okay until the tour guide asks to speak with Mrs. Creaser alone and comes back with no Mrs. Creaser! All the kids thought that was weird but when the tour guide locked the class in a dark building they really freaked out!
My favorite character in this book was Dan Hogg. The reason Dan Hogg is my favorite character is because in the beginning you think he is this dork who nobody likes, but in the end he turns out to be the hero. Another reason Dan Hogg is my favorite character is because he does a lot of funny things that you think he wouldn't have the courage to do.
I recommend this book to any one who enjoys humorous or mystery books. I really like this book because the author makes this book a mystery book with a lot of mystery and suspense. So if you like those kinds of books, you've got to read this book!
I really think you should read this book because it is funny and it shows that any one can be a hero.  When I first saw this book I thought it was going to be a strange book but you can't judge a book by its cover! Go to the library NOW and check out this book! (Jordan B., student)
