This book is about teenagers growing up and living in a rough city. One of the main characters in this book is Rusty James who is one of the toughest kids on his street. Everything is going well for him until his girlfriend dumps him. His older brother, called the motorcycle boy, is the perfect boy, at least to Rusty-James.
