year, the monarch butterflies come to Mexico. No one knows why.
How can these butterflies, who have never even been to Mexico know where
to go? Scientists have been studying this for years and don't have
an answer. But every year, the show up in Mexico. The scientists
may not know why but a little girl in Mexico believes she knows.
She remembers her grandmother and all the things they did together.
Her grandmother died when the butterflies left. Now each year, new
butterflies arrive carrying the souls of the dead. This story is
filled with information about the butterflies and Mexican culture.
