Annie feels left out of things
because her two best friends have had to go to the hospital, but she never
has. When she finds out that her grandmother keeps her grandfather's gall
stones in a jar, she steals the jar to take to school. She plans to tell
everyone that she has had an operation to have the gall stones removed.
But when she gets to school, the jar is missing. Now she is in trouble.
