to be going off to fight in the war. By the time Teddy was old enough,
the war would be over. Everett would surely come home with a chest
full of medals and never let Teddy forget what a hero he was. Now
that both Teddy's father and brother were in the war, Teddy was the man
of the house. But at 10-years-old, he didn't feel like much of a
man. When his mother and sister come down with the Spanish flu, Teddy
must rise to the occasion. He is the only one who can care for them.
