A RING OF ENDLESS LIGHT
New York : Dell, 1981.
IL 5-8 RL 5.5
ISBN 0440972329
I would be lying to you if I said this was a story about a 15 year old with a first time experience of having to juggle three boyfriends. The fact is it's more being a 15 year old with your own problems deciding how much of 3 other people's problems you want to be involved with. It's about choices to be made. A rich guy trying to be friends and an older guy trying to keep the relationship strictly business. On the way through this novel, we overhear the normalcy of this gifted family. We share their love of ideas, their thrill at scientific research, and their openness at the possibilities science has yet to uncover. By the way, if you've been fascinated by dolphins and marine biology give a "Ring of Endless Light."
