Christmas holidays in New Zealand means days at the beach. This book is about a week in the life of Harry, her real name is Ariadne, whose family has gone to their shore home for the holidays. Harry loves to write and she fantasizes great romantic escapades which only she reads. Things start turning wield when out of the deep blue ocean, three strangers -- tricksters -- appear, fascinating Harry's family with their roses and sparkles appearing from nowhere. Harry notices they've taken their names off the bookshelves in their library and they bear an uncanny resemblance to the characters in her book. The plot thickens when she becomes infatuated by one of the brothers and her older sister is being used by the leader of the trio. If you want to read how it all turns out and how Harry resolves the power of her pen, read "The Tricksters".
