17-year old Joel Rogers decides to sneak aboard a friend's plane carrying
supplies to the Alaskan frontier, he was only trying to avoid another confrontation
with his father. He only wants to get away for a day. But what happens
when they arrive in Alaska will change Joel's life forever. Instead
of getting away for a day, he spends an entire winter in the Alaskan wilderness.
Over the next few months, he will witness the murder of his friend, narrowly
miss being killed himself more than once, by both the natural elements
and the criminal elements that have taken up residence in this remote place.
