You have probably heard stories about the pioneers in America as they settled out west many years ago.  Well, did you know that in Australia, there were pioneers as well.  They were settling the bush country of Australia and their lives were very similar to that of the American westward expansion.  This is the story of young Lizzie and her family.  They live very far away from anything or anybody.  Lizzie makes up stories to pass the time and make her life more interesting.  She dreams that she is a princess or that her house is  beautiful or that the baby is taking a bath in a boat.  Her mother calls this nonsense.  But I have a feeling her mother is not too sure that it is nonsense.
SUBJECTS:     Imagination -- Fiction.
