ISBN 0375802932
The Junie B. Jones series is one of the most popular children's book series.
This book is the 18th in the Junie B. Jones series, but the first one in which she’s in first grade. Junie B. expects to love first grade, but it’s not what she expected.  Her school bus buddy decides to sit with someone else. She doesn’t know hardly anyone in her class, and she seems to be the worst reader in her class. The teacher even calls her out of the classroom to talk to her about her reading.

Junie B. finds out that she will have to get glasses. She thinks that no one will like her now. Is first grade going to be the worst year of her life?  (Debbie Frank, Youth Services Librarian, Maitland Public Library, Maitland, Florida, <coachdebra@yahoo.com>)
