Clemency Pogue is back in another adventure.  After all the excitement that she's been through, her life now is just amazingly boring!  The only thing she has to look forward to is the litter of puppies she is taking care of.  When one of the puppies gets really sick, Clemency goes in search of Chaphesmesso in hopes of a cure.  What she finds is that Chaphesmesso is now helping a fledgling hobgoblin by the name of Kennethurchin.  They must find his changeling or else Kennethurchin's future looks awfully dim.  Clemency agrees to help them out if they can help her find the puppy healer.
