I have visited London many times and absolutely love the city.  There is so much to do there and amazing history attached to the city.  Did you know that in 50,000 BC, hunters chased mammoths along the banks of the Thames River?  The Romans invaded the area in A.D. 43 and named the town Londinium.  It has grown a lot since then and will host the Summer Olympics in 2012.  Come on along and find out about the events that made London the city it is today.
SUBJECTS:     London (England) -- History.
London (England) -- Social life and customs.
