GOD WENT TO BEAUTY SCHOOL

Have you ever had a song stuck in your head all day and just keep hearing over and over?  That's the way I felt while I was reading this book.  A few years ago, there was a song by Joan Osborne called One of Us.  The lyrics went, What if God were one of us?  Just a slob like one of us? ... That is the basic premise of this book.  What if God were just like us, what would his day be like?  We see what would happen if God got a dog or got arrested or got in a boat.  We even find out about when God got cable -- afterall, every now and then, even God needs a break!
