SNOW PUMPKIN
New York : Crown Publishers, 2000.
IL K-3
ISBN 0517800152.
This would be good to use in winter units with early childhood groups. "We don't have snow in South Texas but perhaps we can build a snowman almost like Lily and Jessie in  this book.  Lily and Jessie find there is not enough snow to build their snowman so they use a pumpkin and paper snowflakes, let's find out how they did it in this delightful book. "    Afterwards we would have to decorate a pumpkin and make origami snowflakes.  (Lisa Paton ldhp60@aol.com)
