CHOCOLATE FEVER

How many of you like chocolate?  Imagine being able to eat as much chocolate as you like without ever getting sick!  Well, that was the case for Henry, the main character in Chocolate Fever.  Henry loved chocolate and he wanted to add it to almost everything he ate.  Henry ate as much chocolate as he wanted and his parents didn't even mind because he never got sick.  He never had cavities, never had a belly ache, and he always had nice clear skin.....

That is until one day, Henry noticed some small brown spots on his arm.  These spots eventually multiplied and got bigger and bigger.  The doctor could not figure out what the problem was, so he told Henry that he had a new disease which he called "chocolate fever."  Henry was mortified that his favorite food in the world was causing such a problem and to top it off, the other kids began to tease him.  The name calling bothered Henry so much that he decided to run away.  To find out what happens to Henry after he runs away and what becomes of his "chocolate fever," I suggest that you read this book to find out.  (Angela Alberty, angiealberty@juno.com, University of South Carolina; Columbia, SC)
