There is much more adventure and peril for the Baudelaire siblings in this installment of the series.  Plunged beneath the waters, they find themselves on a submarine.  The Qeequeg under the command of Captain Widdershins, seems like it may be a good place to escape the evil Count Orlof.  As they enter the Gorgonian Grotto, an undersea cave, baby Sunny is poisoned by mushrooms that grow in the cave.  And yes, Count Orlof is indeed still in pursuit of the siblings.
