Booktalk #1

Dru Anderson and her dad are not like anyone you have ever met.  At least I assume they are.  They travel from town to town hunting strange creatures including zombies, poltergeists, vampires and werewolves.  When Dru's father goes missing during one of his hunts, Dru isn't sure what to do.  But when he returns as a zombie, she knows she is on her own and must do the unthinkable.  Dru teams up with a Goth foster kid and the two of them are now being hunted.

Booktalk #2

Dru Anderson’s very strange life of following her father around the country demon hunting, voodoo eradicating, and dark, dangerous doings changes drastically with a click, click, clicking at her back door one night.  Her father left the night before, and now he has returned a zombie.  Unfortunately the reanimated don’t stop until they catch the person in their sights, and Dru is forced to kill her father.  In an effort to escape the memory, and figure out her next moves, Dru goes to the mall and runs into her sorta-friend Graves.  Graves takes her under his wing, and is rewarded by being bit by a werewolf who was after Dru.  Enter Christophe, the dhampyre, sent to be Dru’s guardian angel.  A massive snow storm, and the dark “real” world attack the town and Dru- and she has no idea why.  The mystery of who killed her father and why they are after her is the question she and her new friends must try to solve, before she’s also killed.
