family move to Key West on a lark. His history teacher father, a scholar
in Spanish history, decided to cash in their assets and look for sunken
treasure. Mom has decided she'd give up her journalist position with the
local paper and try her hand at writing a novel. The novelty wears off
and individual family members have varying degrees of enthusiasm about
the frequent disappointments in the ocean salvage business. Chris travels
to Spain for some research to prove a ship laden with gold did sink beyond
the reef. Storm adventures and diving accidents make this an exciting book
to pick up. |
