This is a classic tale that begins with a hunt for a sea monster.  There are reports of a strange sea monster living in the ocean.  A scientist and his party set off to find the creature but their ship is destroyed in a massive explosion.  What they find is that they are rescued by that very same sea monster.  It turns out to be a submarine.  The year is 1866 and submarines are virtually unheard of.  Especially a submarine as advanced as the Nautilus.  The shipwrecked crew are kept prisoner on the Nautilus for eight months.  During that time, they take part in a series of amazing adventures.  Although intrigued by the science of the Nautilus and the inventions of it's captain, Nemo, the three survivors try to escape.  Join these characters on their adventures TWENTY THOUSAND LEAGUES UNDER THE SEA.
