Booktalk #1

I want them.  I need them.  I love them.  Beautiful earrings.  Glorious earrings.  That's all that is important to this young girl.  Do you think she'll be able to convince her parents that now is the time?

Booktalk #2

I use this book every year to introduce the text structure of See-Saw. The kids love it and it really reinforces the text structure of see-saw because of the repeating words throughout the book. The illustrations are great and of course I make up voices and the kids love it. Great for read aloud even if you aren't teaching text structures.  (Carole Stanley,  Teacher - Lake Worth, Texas)
