Why does her mom act that way?  Arlie knows her mom is a neat freak and strict about everything.  But only with Arlie.  She's not like that with her little brother.  Sometimes Arlie wishes her mother would just go away.  And now that has happened.  Her parents have gone away for a few weeks and Arlie and Michael are staying with their fun aunt.  But then the unthinkable happens.  There is a car accident and both parents are seriously hurt.  Arlie continues to go to school each day and prays that her parents will be OK.  While at school, Arlie meets a new girl that reminds her of someone else.
