Have you ever thought of Canada's role in the Civil War?  In the American war between the north and the south, Canada became a refuge for runaway slaves and almost found itself involved in the war as slave catchers came to recapture the slaves.  This story follows Walt from Canada and Nate from South Carolina.  Years earlier, their grandfathers who are brothers had a falling out over the issue of slavery.  Walt's grandfather moved to Canada and Nate's grandfather stayed in South Carolina.  And now these cousins find themselves fighting on different sides of the struggle.
