Meet Hank Zipser, fourth grader.  On his very first day of fourth grade, he finds himself in trouble again.  He tends to get in trouble a lot.  Not that he wants to.  He's not one of those kids who are always causing trouble on purpose.  Trouble just seems to find Hank.  And now he has to write a 5 paragraph essay on his summer vacation.  Hank isn't very good at writing.  Or spelling. Or math.  Well, you get the idea.  But he comes up with a marvelous idea.  Instead of writing an essay on his trip to Niagara Falls, Hank will create a model of Niagara Falls and tell the class all about it!  So with the help of his best friends, he goes to work on the project.  Hank thinks it is a great idea but it doesn't go over very well with his teacher.  And now he is facing two weeks of detention and two weeks of grounding at home.  But that means he can't join his friends when they perform at the bowling alley!  What is the Magic Three with only two?  Will Hank find a way out of this one?  And, will he ever get that essay written?
