We use oil for many reasons. Oil can be made to produce gasoline for our cars. It can heat our homes. But oil needs to be brought out of the earth and then put on big ships to bring it to places that can make the gasoline or other products. Back in 1977, one of these big ships had a accident and lots of this oil spilled into the water. It spread out and reached the shore. And polluted everything around. Find out what happens to the wildlife when there is an oil spill. And how long it takes to clean it all up.
