 Jack Morgan is living by himself on an uninhabited planet.  He is on the run after being accused of a crime he didn't commit.  So here he is living in his uncle's spaceship and a computer program for company.  Then the unthinkable happens.  Another spaceship crashes on the planet and now Jack finds himself helping Draycos -- a K'da warrior who is a symbiot and needs Jack to stay alive.  Needing each other more than they could possibly imagine, the two set off to clear Jack's name and to possibly save the universe.
